Humanities teacher
Leads the humanities studio and the writing workshop, and plans the Friday outings with the students who propose them.
Krystyna Majewski
Math teacher
Teaches math in groups by where each student is, and keeps the supplies list the meeting reviews every term.
How the teachers work with families
Each family has a first conversation at the visit, a short meeting after the first month and one more each term. A student's folder is open to parents at any of them.
Each term a teacher writes a page about what a student read, made and worked on, and the student adds a page of their own. There are no letter grades. The meeting's minutes go home every Thursday.
